HANDMADE - MOSAIC BOX

Last December, we played Secret Santa at our office.  The theme for for the game is "Hand Made" gifts only.  I made a mosaic box.  It's my first mosaic project, so I was a little nervous about how would it turn out.   Fortunately, it turns out cute!  I'll have more Mosaic projects coming :)

I started with lining the box so it's not bared looking.

covered a little over the edge so there's no raw edge showing once finished.

Here're my ceramic mosaic tiles I'll be playing with.

this is how it opens.  Inside is lined with rose scented paper.

covered with grout.  I was kind of nervous at this point.  Didn't know how would it turn out.
