Ingredients:
1 onion
4 pieces of extra firm smoked tofu
1/2 lb ground pork
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped shallot
1 jar of sweet flour paste (甜麵醬)
1 tablespoon potatoe starch
Direction:
1. dice onions and smoked tofu
2. heat up oil with a deep skillet
3. put in ginger, garlic and shallot. let it cook until aroma comes out.
4. add ground pork and diced smoked tofu to the heated skillet with garlic, shallot and ginger.
5. add onion to the same skillet, and cook until it turns clear. keep stirring while it cooks.
6. add sweet flour paste and a cup of water. let it cook for about 10 minutes.
7. mix 1 tablespoon potatoe starch with half cup of water
8. add the potatoe starch water to the skillet
9. it's done when the sauce thinkens up
pour over any kind of noodles. I added shredded cucumber and eggs. Yum!
